What I really love about 'Mull of Kintyre'...

Any documentary you watch about modern history, that includes the 70s, seems to prattle on and on about punk. Particularly the latest one on rock, the BBC did.

"The whole country was mesmerized by punk. This music was the voice of a generation, and everyone was listening."

It didn't stop the soppiest, most mellow song of the decade getting to number one for weeks on end, though.

Its great how one of the finest songwriters of the century who had led the last musical movement was still topping the charts 7 years on, but by doing the opposite of what these irritating programmes tell us was the only thing anyone cared about.

I adore Sir Paul. He is my favourite person on the world at the moment. He was the best Beatle by far. Lennon gets all the praise cos he got shot, and Paul gets shot down because of his cheesy solo career and attitude. But really, his live shows look fantastic, compared with people like The Who and The Stones, who are just incredibly embarrassing.
