Beirut is to release his second album and go on a UK tour later this year.

'The Fly Cub Cup', the follow-up to 2006's 'Gulag Orkestar', is released on October 8.

The tour kicks off on November 6 in Manchester.

The dates are:

Glasgow Arches (7)
Leeds Irish Centre(8)
Cardiff The Point (9)
London Roundhouse (10)
