or would it just take masses of promotion?

I ask because i can't see myself ever wanting to go on tour, or being able to reproduce my recorded music in the live arena. Does this make me sick and wrong?

Basically, is there any chance i could make enough money from a meagrely successful career to keep myself afloat?
