Music is everything I do. It's my life, and always has been, since an early age. I've played a whole load of gigs before, from friends and family to 100s of people on festival stages. I genuinely can't imagine my life without playing music.

But I was very close last night to packing it all in. That's how awful this gig was. And the worst thing is that I have nothing to blame other than mediocre songs played badly.

I need a rethink. A change of direction. What I do just doesn't work on a live stage - or at least, I could be doing something better.

Anyone else been in a similar situation?
