Heard an interview with Johnny Marr on 6 Music and he touched on the fact that American Indie bands are not getting the recognition they deserve Giving Band Of Horses as the example.
I have to say i agree with this with other imo under-rated bands The Shins and Interpol being just another couple of examples.
I used to have a bias myself for British music ever since Punk as i found the bands this side of the pond to be less pretentious,however,i never thought i'd ever say this but it seems now the tables have turn now.
