Jesus how is this placing so high on every single fucking end of year list? I like the Nike+ track he did but Sound Of Silver just seems to be a detached, self-satisfied exercise in genre parodies.

And All My Friends is the song of the year?! It's so anaemic! It's like a fifth-rate Joy Division with the flattest production job I've heard in ages. Maybe he was going for the minimal, sparse Factory Records sound but it just sounds weak.
