Apart from their image, they've done a really good job for me. They interested me for just about long enough to reintroduce me to the 60s, and all the music they're ripping off.

Also, I'm not sure as to whether the fact their influences are pretty good makes me have more respect for them than some band like The Libertines, who used to bang on about how amazing The Clash were.

So here's to The Horrors, for despite their comedic behaviour, their heart is in the right place - and now, partly because of them, so is mine.
