it's hard to find decent drum loops :/

kanefulton [Edit] [Delete] 14:08, 5 January '08

I do a lot of home recording, I play piano, bass and guitar, hooking them up to the pc. I've got a boss dr-3 drum machine but it doesn't really tailor to what I want.. it's fiddly to program and it doesn't have any fast-hi hat (rapture style) rhythms which is really what I'm after. It has lots of different styles like blues, jazz, heavy rock, just not what im looking for. I've downloaded a few free loops off a few sites and once found a good cover cd which had some great loops on it. I'm increasingly finding out that it's drum loops that are holding me back from getting decent songs off the ground. I wish i had an electric kit so i could record straight into my pc! anyone know any good loop sources?
