Odd. I've been listening to the National's Album for ages now on and off, and it's absolutely refused to do anything for me. But just now, as I stick it on to accompany doing some work, I'm absolutely loving it, and immediately enjoyed 'Fake Empire' on the first listen. Is there something that just triggers recognition? Or is it the fact that I've put the album on and aren't *trying* to like it?
