God there was a whole load of shit British guitar indie in the charts last year, wasn't there? I was trying to ddecide which song I hated the most, but I keep coming back to 'the latest one I heard on the radio', which is currently that Wombats one, Moving To New York ("I've just had the craziest week". Really? Wow. Fuck off) but that can't have been the worst, I must be forgetting a few. Scouting For Girls' She's So Lovely? Goodbye Mr A? And was there anything in this sad excuse for a genre (chart indie) that wasn't anything less than fucking unlistenable?

(I know I should just ignore this shit and it'll go away, but with Joe Lean being lined up as one of the great hopes for 2008, it's not looking good).
