I WAS going to see Laymar play at the Betsey Trotwood venue in London 18/01/08 (Friday) but now I find that I can't make it. The gig is listed on DIS, Plum and the venue itself.

I have already bought my ticket (£5.00) which I am prepared to send to anyone who is interested in going. I don't expect payment, just PM me with a postal address and i'll pop it in the post.

A reviewer put a Laymar gig in her top 20 gigs of 2007 when looking back over the last twelve months and said of them that they are "Manchester's (and maybe the world's) finest dark-hearted glacial post-rock instrumental soundscapers hold a small crowd captivated in their engrossing spiral of beautiful noise. A close second would have been their support set for Battles earlier in the year at Academy 3 where they actually made the air turn cold."
There are two other bands on but I don't know anything about them at all.

I'm disappointed I can't go but happy to give my ticket away.
