Vinyl Question: Piper At The Gates of Dawn

wrightylew [Edit] [Delete] 14:53, 13 January '08

I bought Pink Floyd's debut yesterday on vinyl in Manchester at a vinyl shop.

I was wondering if it was valuable or special or anything. It was published in 67, according to the disc and sleeve.

But the vinyl itself is yellow, and fairly see-through. It also carries the black and yellow label. I've heard that when that's on stuff, its special?

Its amazing to play. Absolutely no noise at all. Its so smooth. The first vinyl I've ever played that doesn't make a 'PAP' noise every second or so.
