The British Sea Power album

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 12:02, 14 January '08

I haven't heard it yet but I'm going to go out and buy this later. I'll be excited by all the positive reviews and the claims it's possibly their best album so far.

After I've bought it I'm going to listen to it. I'm going to quite like it and enjoy some of the songs even if it sounds a bit too much like their last two albums to really excite me or sound fresh or new. I'll listen to it a few times over the next month or so. I might even put a couple of the best songs on my MP3 player.

Then, in about a month's time, it'll go into my CD collection at home pretty much never to be listened to again. And effectively it will have been a waste of a perfectly good tenner.

This is what happens with virtually every CD I buy.

Can someone please convince me this time will be different?
