Time to be serious...

Has anyone who has ever done this got any advice? My band is recording over the weekend in a PROPER studio (Yellow Arch in Sheffield). We're going to try and get three songs recorded, and we've made experimental home recordings of them before, so we kind of know what we want but none of us have done a proper studio recording with a real life engineer/producer etc so...
