Read this recently, I thought it raised some interesting points and it got me listening to the record again:

To say its a pretty schizophrenic album is a huge understatement. That verse before he starts giving all his shout outs (to the eskimos and the submarines, obvs) on I Can't Wait is completely insane. Great Rick James cover too.

So, any other albums which reflect such a disturbed state of mind spring to mind?
