Does anyone else find Times New Viking unbearable and completely and utterly unlistenable?? Don't get me wrong, i think they're AWESOME and i love the guitarist especially. I just can't listen to them without cringing in pain and i actually really, really hate them for making their albums sound the way they do. All their ghettoblaster-through-a-distortion-pedal schtik adds to the music is a dense layer of smugness. Nothing more, nothing less.

Go to their Myspace and listen to the first track, the one from their new album. By the end of it, it makes me hate music. AND I LOVE THEIR SONGS!!!
