I was lucky enough to see AWK playing a solo piano show at a tiny Manhattan bar last week, aptly named Piano's. The music was dark and haunting, kinda hard to place really, although one reviewer went for "an uncanny mash-up of early Elton John, Journey, Smog and Lambchop." He finished with an encore of I Get Wet which was typically rousing!
