does anyone feel entirely unmotivated to listen to music sometimes? especially if it's an album or something that you've been waiting months for?

i bought these new puritans' 'beat pyramid' last week, but it's still in my bag, untouched. a few weeks ago i was looking forward to getting this album, but at the moment i don't really have any interest to listen to it. it may have been under the circumstances i bought it - i spotted it and thought "oh, that's out? might as well get it".

i guess the other example would be the long blones' album. i bought that the day it came out, but i have never ever listened to it. i'm just wondering if these new puritans will end up the same way (even though i like them a lot more than i ever did the long blondes).

anyway, what albums have you bought but never listened to, especially ones you were looking forward to coming out?
