You guys probably don't know it, but half of America watches the Superbowl for the halftime show and the commercials. Usually they're better than the game. But not this year.

The tv ads were on the whole, terrible. The eTrade talking baby's projectile vomit, and acknowledging that while saving loads of money in his online trading account he did get himself a clown, he'd underestimated the clown's "creepiness" factor - that was funny.

But Tom Petty? Aging middle age rock star singing songs which were MOR when he first recorded them? No, my friends. This is not the right image for the Superbowl. That was just one lame-ass performance.

Most of you don't give a rat's ass about the Superbowl. I understand that. But let's pretend. Pretend you're in charge for next year:
