right, i went to the gig at gramaphone tonight and it was the biggest piece of self-aware, intentionally twee shite ever. anni rossi was great, innovative and exciting but the support and audience were dogshit...sitting down, sssssshhhing everything and everyone whilst jigging to support acts that were genuinely not that special and soo hollow and self aware...

an article in 'the stool pigeon' about how this new folk nonsense was just as open to scrutiny to the nu-rave (shudder) shoreditch lot sprang to mind. how do these people take themselves so seriously?
