OK... there are songs that the lyrics make, i.e. most of anti folk, where the music can be shit but the stories make up for it.

But (and I know I'll be ribbed by you for this) I like that Lover song by Devendra Banhart, but the lyrics are just so god damn bad I can hardly listen to it...

What about songs in other languages, the fact you don't know what they're talking about doesn't matter, so how come I'm so put off by this bloody song's lyrics?
