so having waited a good 30 minutes after Video Nasties finished their set we were getting a tad frustrated. There was a lot of faffing about on stage, and eventually a guy comes to the microphone to tell us that the sampler wasn't working. Also the spare sampler wasn't working either, but there was apparently a 'glimmer of hope'.

So the crowd remained (mainly composed of 15 year old girls, I felt old); the lights came up... nothing happened. Then another 20 minutes later he returns apologizing and saying it looks like it'll be okay. By this stage I was pretty ticked off and tempted to just leave anyway. A further 10 or so minutes pass and he returns (third time lucky maybe?), no, he declared that the gig would have to be canceled/ postponed *booing* *heckling*

After him a second guy came out to say refunds would be available but not tonight. Me-pretty annoyed? But this has potentially good implications for me, as the two tickets I won on here (BUT DIDN'T ARRIVE, THANKS DiS) can be refunded... I hope.

Highlight of the gig: the police turning up midway through Video Nasties set with sniffer dogs.
