british "emo" bands with tappy clean mathy guitars

alcxxk [Edit] [Delete] 13:40, 13 February '08

seriously, there seems to be a whole fuckload of these recently. i certainly don't object to it - bands who sound like they listen to a lot of kinsella bands, and whose fans remind me of people i used to know who read Rock Sound (this isnt a good or bad thing, i just mean "that kind of sort of suburban emo/indie/rock kid that i certainly wouldnt claim not to be myself")...

this town needs guns, colour and pennines all played together last night and sum this up pretty well

instruments - although they dont have as many vocals
youthmovies - i reckon theyre a bit of an influence on this apparent group of bands, but they've got much more prog and eclectic bits
moneytree - but only on a few songs.

anyway, who have i missed?
