armed only with the knowledge that the singer has a high voice (and possibly blonde hair) and that they had a really summery sounding song that I couldn't quite remember the tune to I agreed to go along to see them tonight with a friend whose a big fan.

Turns out they're rather good in an OC soundtracking guitar pop kind of way. Helpfully they played the song I was trying to remember first (Long Time Coming, apparently), so that eased me into things.
Not something I'd usually go for I enjoyed it.

It was certainly preferable to running across Newcastle from the Cluny only to make it into the station as my train home was pulling into the station in the freezing icy cold. Or the support act - didn't catch the name but imagine two Topman mannequins doing Kate Nash covers on acoustic guitars and you'll get the picture.
