Being in a band and having a fan base abroad...

Rose-Kitten [Edit] [Delete] 09:51, 27 February '08

Specifically, my band has a bit of a following in Peru.. The gay scene in NY also love us.. This radio station in Peru constantly email us and asks us to do voiceovers, 'Hi! I'm MsRosalita from Pris_ and you're listening to Kool Rock Radio!'. I just found out we had made the top ten tracks on their 2007 playlist and furthermore into some kind of primetime slot each week. I had no idea. This has made my morning.

What other bands broke (not suggesting we have at all) outside their own territories before making it big in their own countries?

*Am scheming a trip to Peru now.. which would be fucking awesome.
