My dad's coming over in May (hopefully for the whole month) and so I think we'll have to put on a few of our own gigs to make sure he can get to see us a few times while he's here.

The Pool Bar's sound might have been a bit dodge at times, but it was cheap'n'cheerful...but now it's closed I hear. Anyway, what are the good venues for putting on shows for next to no money where you can pick some great bands to play with and do it all yourself with only the minimum hurt to your pocket? I'll do my own sound if needs be, frankly.

Basically costs maxing out about £50 mark, though free would be preferable.

East End preferred but anywhere would be good.

Also, any bands who feel they're similar sort of sound as Pocus and who'd want to play such an affair, feel free to message me.
