Any ideas on decent music for kids? My son (8) currently has a fetish for Queen's Greatest Hits fercrissakes, although I'm making some progress - his current favourite song is Clor's Dangerzone, and he demanded some Burial in the car this morning on the way to school (having rejected the 16 Horsepower and Sparklehorse I had been playing, although I thought Burial was a pretty good call).

My daughter (5) also likes Dangerzone, and is no. 1 fan of Megson (folk duo who are technically great, but tend slightly to the saccharine, although there are signs of them getting a bit more experimental).

Someone on here recommended Battles, and to my surprise and delight, they both love Tonto and Atlas.

I've also been recommended Greasy Kid Stuff (radio show on WFMU, and there is a CD available with some pretty good stuff on it).

Any other ideas? One of the most enjoyable aspects of parenting is indoctrination!
