yeah, there are loads of threads on this album. whatever. i couldn't find one.

ok, so basically, i downloaded this today (yes i know, shocking, shocking, but i've bought everything else they've ever released and seen them live lots and lots and bought three t-shirts and am going to buy it on tuesday so i don't think i'm doing anything all that wrong) and i find the production to be, on the most part, pretty good, except for the crucial factor that it really hurts my ears. the treble is just very sharp and biting in a way that means by the time i've got two thirds of the way through the album, my ears are actually starting to be in a fair state of discomfort.

am i alone in this, or has anyone else experienced anything similar?
