Oh dear, I've gone and said it.

I know that a certain former DiSer (and self declared 'indie snob'!) used to enthuse about them, but, Christ were they mediocre at best.

Is anyone else perplexed by the enthusiasm shown for this band amongst some corners of this forum?

I've never at any point encountered anyone elsewhere who has a good word to say about them...bizarre.
