I am a merch man for a DiS favourite band. True, my only engagement to date is a number of 1, and I spread my commitments frugally. In my experience, the official merchandisers are lovely but the bootleggers outside are horrible! Is this a rule? There was a charming man who played in Charlotte Hatherley's band who did the merch, I remember. And My Latest Novel and that sexy frontman from We Are Scientists did some sterling jobs at some low key gigs.
