i have a low quality but functional electric acoustic guitar.
for my birthday i'd really quite like an electric guitar.

is it worth me buying a gibson epiphone DOT for playing sleazy rock and roll and looking good. does it respond well to fucked up effects pedals and masses of reverb and noisy sounds?
is it nice to play?
