I'm moving to York in about a month. I am worried that I know very few people there and those I do no don't share my idiosyncratic taste in music.

I'd like very much to meet some people who live there who are into this type of thing to go to gigs in York, Leeds or wherever or just to sit and talk about how good Lou Barlow is over flagons of coffee.

I've got very eclectic taste but am currently enamoured with Do Make Say Think, Low, Sonic Youth, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Teenage Fanclub, Elbow and Sebadoh. Though I love anything from Rage Against the Machine to Bob Dylan with the odd myopic oversight!

If you fancy meeting up or going to some gigs or know someone who might then post below or send me a PM. I'm even pretty good company once you get me away from being a music bore!
