So, I got so carried away with camping at G Man that I toured the campsites of Youkay for a week.
The rain in the Peak District is sort of ambient by comparison, btw.

Anyway, as predicted, my G Man highllight was Black Mountain.
So, so, so awesome.

1 part Storm In Heaven, 1part Led Zep II, and two parts White Rabbit era Jefferson Airplane. Not for everyone, I suppose, but they were the shizzle. And just when they veered toward the comically hippified, they do what the Verve don't and bring it back with a colossal blistering ram-riff.

In The Future is in my top 5 for the year.
