Midi controllers

kenako [Edit] [Delete] 17:45, 28 August '08

I want to get a midi input controller/keyboard, to use with reason mainly, but my budget is fairly tight. I've been looking at either this chap http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/KeyRig25-main.html the m-audio oxygen 25 key for about £50, or the creative prodikeys http://www.prodikeys.com/products/Prodikeys_PC-MIDI/ for about £35 (plus it has a better computer keyboard than my current very basic cherry keyboard).

Any advice either way? Space is a bit pushed, and it's mainly to make inputting things into reason a bit easier, so i figure i can get away with a small keyboard (with octave shifter), and it's for home recording not live work.
