I'm pretty clueless but need to get my act together pretty soon as I'm doing a course on music production at uni. Probably leaving it a bit late but I'm planning on actually working while I'm there.

I've got Ableton and Reason, I'm about to order a MIDI Keyboard- is there anything else I need for the basics?
