Recommend me some if you like. Things I'd find original and interesting rather than ones that sound like 9, 672, 000 other bands that have gone before. Oh, and original and interesting in a "generally having a naturally unique and refreshing quality about them" way rather than in a "self-consciously quirky" way. In fact I want to ban self-conscious quirkiness from this thread (and music too, if at all possible).

Anyway, with these restrictions in mind, any recommendations?
