Whats your favourite little venue? (or big one or whatever)

Mines a little local one called...

The Shed
http://www.theshed.co.uk/

They always have a program of brilliant stuff every season :)

In the past I have seen:
Polar Bear (and will do again this season)
Fulborn Teversahm
Leafcutter John
Charlie Dark & his African Beats

lots of other Jazz artists and a blues guy.

Plus they do mad gigs like:

Mrs Boyes Bingo, which is a normal bingo game but with a jazz duo tryin to put everyone off at the same time. They play the drums and double bass gental at first but as the game gets more intence they crank it up until everyone is shouting and goin mad heheh

A yorkshire pudding race

a jazz man in a skip outside

jazz and fish and chip van

Comedy...

I saw Stuart Lee and Richard Herring on diffrent occasions there it was amazing.

Its a tiney little place that holds about 100 odd people. They have a bar that sells the loacl brewerys booze (Black Sheep) its so nice... Plus you get candel lit tables and pistachio nuts too! Or lots of room to dance if its standing.

Whats yours and why?
