Who would like to buy some cheap effects pedals off me?

maevans [Edit] [Delete] 11:07, 9 September '08

Hullo hullo hullo guitarists of the world.

I'm flogging some of my overdrive/distortion pedals!

All pedals are, obviously, second hand as they have belonged to me. Unless sepcified, they work like a dream and are in good condition and come with their original boxes etc etc blah blah. If you would like photos of the pedals to prove they are in one piece then just ask. Feel free to make me an offer. Also, I was thinking of charging ooh, say a fiver postage. Pedals are heavy! Or I'm Oxford based if you want to pick it up in person.

I have a:

SNARLING DOGS: Black Dog Overdrive.£30. Nice big pedal, it's eyes light up when you turn it on, Snarling Dogs are a boutique pedal maker I'd say. Reviews here:

Scratches to its paint work but only superficial: THERE ARE NO dents etc/loose jacks/broken knobs etc. I can happily supply photos. New these were about £80 I think.

MARSHALL: Bluesbreaker 2Overdrive. £15. Not quite in the same league as the Black dog, but its a decent solid overdrive. Has two functions: one basic overdrive and the other is a simple volume boost which is actually rather useful. Reviews at: http://tinyurl.com/5cq2um
These were £40-50 new I believe.

Pro-Co: RAT 2. + adapter (£40).
Pay attention, this pedal is not fully functional at the moment as it has a fault. However, I'm led to believe it would be easy to fix (I think its just a bit of loose solder inside) and these can be returned (without receipt!) to Pro-Co who fix them for free (as long as you post them it obviously). It is otherwise in Mint condition. For the money I can also send you its' adapter (they don't use the standard BOSS style power adapters) which are ridiculously hard to buy in the Uk (I have found one place selling them ever). So, this is obviously not for everyone, but if you fancy getting a pedal and adapter which would normally set you back £90 (£80 for the pedal, £10 for the adapter) for £40 then I think it's a reasonable deal. Rat's are awesome pedals and if I still needed it I would be sending it back and getting it repaired myself pronto.
