i said i'd teach someone the basics of playing guitar tonight, does anyone have any suggestions of what to focus on?

i was thinking of just showing the easy basic chords of G, D, A, C, E, Am, E, Em cos I seem to remember that was all i taught myself to get going.

what about any easy first song suggestions?

better still anyone know of any online tutorials as it would be good to just take him through that?
