right, does anyone else rate Meshuggah as a band?

Having recently got one of my mates who likes jazz into them (who now listens to them all the time), and having a fairly eclectic music taste myself, I don't think they get enough credit (from the non-metal magazines anyway).

I've hardly heard anything on either DiS or Pitchfork about them, but I think they're one of the few groups who are genuinly pushing music forward.
