what is there that i'll be able to find to download for free?

i'm just wanting to make some beats for a bedroom recording project as i've not got a drumkit/east access to a drumkit.

thinking animal collective, menomena, why? type loops of beats and clicks and stuff (i realise all 3 of these bands use mostly live drums).

preferably not fruity loops, i've not got on very well with that in the past.
