Hi All,

So on October 7th we're throwing a DiS 8th Birthday Party at Night'n'Day in Manchester as part of In the City. However, just had some bad news that our headliners White Denim have had to pull out.

So, with not much time and having already tried quite a few bands to headline, who do you think we should try? If you can check that the band are available (i.e. in the country and not on tour) and are not playing manchester a few weeks either side of our show, that'd also be good but names welcome (although I think favourites like Los Camp', Mystery Jets, Blood Red Shoes, etc are all out of the question as they playing Manchester not long after, and Late of the Pier play In the City a few days before, Friendly Fires are playing London, etc).

My dream shortlist at the moment is Phoenix, Jamie T, Lykke Li (tho not sure she can tour without a day off), TV on the Radio and Chairlift (about to blow up because of the iTunes ad http://www.myspace.com/chairlift )
