Length of gigs
Just read this article about how gigs are too long, and should be kept to a minimum of 45 minutes:
Do people agree with this? I do, for sure. The main gripe the comments under the article seem to have is value for money, but personally, I'd be much happier with a shorter show. I get restless and bored after any longer, regardless of the band.
It's something I've been considering with my new band, and we've agreed to keep our sets to 20 minutes max. I hate watching 30 minute + sets of unsigned bands I usually haven't heard before.
