Which bands have survived your "MTV2 days?"

GalacticStar3ruption [Edit] [Delete] 10:56, 24 September '08

I was thinking about this the other day. Although I never watch MTV2 anymore, there are a few of the bands that I discovered because of that channel, that I still listen to.

I'm thinking of bands that were played at peak times, not the ones played during 120 minutes, or other similar programs (although I can't remember any other ones).

This is my little list, with the key track in brackets:

Muse - (My life changed the moment I heard T.I.R.O)
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Interpol
The Cooper Temple Clause
The Dears

I should also credit MTV2 for getting me into The Smashing Pumpkins, I heard Tonight, Tonight on there first.

So, how about you guys then? Which bands have survived your changing music tastes from the days of MTV2?

(I'm not assuming everyone used to watch MTV2, this is for anyone that it applies to)
:)
