I love this band. But I can't help but think I've heard all this before.
I've been into this band since the crap cardboard and pritt-stick release of the ep and adore them live. But this album sounds sort of tired, no?
It's not bad, but it's not that good either. It's too arsey.

Basically it sounds like The Fire in Our Throats will Beckon the Thaw meets Populuxxe. But not as good as that sounds like it should be.

Major fanboyism backlash is nigh I'm sure but is this really as good as the hype suggested it would be?
