I only became aware of Wesley's Willis' music this morning and have spent the rest of the day fascinated by his rather sad life story and music.

Is this guy quite well known and has just managed to pass me by? I'm not going to ask where a good place to start is, because as far as I can discern, all of his songs sound EXACTLY the same.
