i mean proper insanity stuff. mental illness, suicide, turmoil, pestilence...that kind of thing. none of yer ryan "my girlfriend left me" adams with his heartbreaker or beck "i've just discovered acoustic guitars" hansen on seachange. The only heartbreak albums we can have will be ones where, i dunno, the girlfriend/wife was eaten by a bear or something.

Of course, with all my strict declarations in the paragraph above my starting picks will be scrutinised and probably mocked/rubbished. Whatever.
