I'd been waiting for el postman to deliver this for over a week and it finally arrived on Saturday.

Just when I thought the post-rock scene was too tired to produce anything that actually stood out it appears 'Embers' is there to change my mind.

Aggressive as hell yet melodic and beautiful. A big step up from And The Battle is Won and a more cohesive effort. There is no "Shallows" unfortunately but "Get To The Chopper" and "Murmurs Pt 2" are equally as masterful.

One of the most exciting instrumental bands around. This record is the shit.
