I don't know how many of you experienced the golden age of 4AD, which for me was '84 to '94 ish with Pixies, Cocteau Twins, Throwing Muses, Lush , Pale Saints, This Mortal Coil, Dead Can Dance, Ultra Vivid Scene and Red House Painters along with The Breeders who are the only ones left on the roster. But with TV on the Radio, Bon Iver , Beirut, Scott Walker, Stereolab, Mountain Goats, Deerhunter, Atlas Sound, Blonde Redhead , Future of the Left and new hopes It Hugs Back and Department of Eagles etc. is this the best label roster in the world? Again?
