Whether it's down to too much plugging, endless blogs praising their virtues, total lack of time just to catch up on the latest sounds, overwhelming 'meh' factor or, as I fear, reaching that certain age where you dust off your old cds for a nostalgic trip and never listen to anything new again (back in my day we had proper tunes lad! etc...), I JUST CAN'T BE BOTHERED to investigate the following bands:
